About Us
A Voice for Indigenous Peoples and Minorities

Indigenous people are among the most disadvantaged people in the world. They often live in resource-rich regions, threatening their way of life with economic interests. Minorities are often discriminated socially, economically or politically. This makes it difficult for them to participate in decision-making processes that affect their way of life and culture.

For these reasons, the Society for Threatened Peoples (STP) is committed to indigenous peoples and minorities: We support them in strengthening their human rights.
